Nozzle assembly has a injector body whereby nozzle needle is arranged axially moveable in injector needle recess and has a sealing geometry in tip region of nozzle needle
Nozzle assembly has an injector body (2), which comprises a pressure releasing recess (8), series of injection orifice, a seat area (28) which is formed in the wall (52) of the injector needle recess. A nozzle needle (6) is arranged axially moveable in the injector needle recess and has a sealing geometry (24) in the tip region of the nozzle needle. The tip region of the nozzle needle in the closing position is coupled in a sealing manner, radially outside the series of injection orifices, with the seat area. The nozzle needle prevents the fluid flow through the series of orifice in the closing position otherwise releases the fluid. A pressure releasing recess is formed in the tip region radially inwards at a distance to the sealing geometry at a specific axial distance to the sealing geometry. The tip region in the closing position interacts with series of injection orifices. An independent claim is also included for the injection valve.
