Nozzle assembly for internal combustion engines has nozzle needle, which can be moved axially in nozzle needle recess whereby seat surface in nozzle body enables recess communicate with first injecting orifice and nozzle needle recess
The nozzle assembly has a nozzle needle (5), which can be moved axially in the nozzle needle recess and has a closure surface (10). The seat adapter (24), having seat surface (25) and recess (27), is so arranged in the nozzle body (1) that the recess communicate with the first injecting orifice (22) and nozzle needle recess. The closure surface (10) of the nozzle needle is mechanically coupled with the seat surface in the closing position of the nozzle needle and prevents the fluid flow through the recess and first injecting orifice. The nozzle body has a center line (28) whereby seat surface makes a seat angle (alpha ) with the center line. The seat angle lies in the range of 170 degrees to 190 degrees. An independent claim is also included for the valve.
