Determining anti-oxidative activity of materials or its mixtures comprises measuring the time dependence signal intensity for a number of free test radicals of two different weight samples of the anti-oxidative substance; preparing a first data record to determine the first, dynamic parameter of the reaction time; preparing a second data record for determining a second, static parameter of the weight characteristic of measured intensity of the respective weight samples on a time; and preparing a third data record for determining a third parameter of an anti-oxidative power. Determining anti-oxidative activity of materials or its mixtures, preferably raw materials or finished products, by measuring the reduction of at least one test radical with at least an anti-oxidative substance, comprises measuring the time dependence signal intensity (I) for a number of free test radicals (N) of at least two different weight samples (wn) (where n is infinitive) of the anti-oxidative substance to be tested; preparing at least a first data record to determine the first, dynamic parameter of the reaction time (t), from which (I) is measures at least two different times (tm) (where m is infintive) for the respective weight samples; preparing at least a second data record for determining a second, static parameter of the weight characteristic of measured intensity of the respective weight samples on a time; and preparing at least a third data record for determining a third parameter of an anti-oxidative power (AP), which is time dependent and a quantitative measure for evaluating the anti-oxidative activity of the substance. An independent claim is included for a device for the determination of the anti-oxidative activity of materials or its mixture.
