An embedded system implemented as a selective integrated system and an implementing method thereof are provided to implement the selective integrated system by performing multiple functions according to user selection, as the integrated system for offering different functions with one hardware platform is implemented. A flash memory(320) stores at least two programs performing the different function. A CPU(310) executes the program corresponding to the function selected from at least two programs stored in the flash memory. The flash memory stores at least one bootloader and a header for managing the programs with one integrated program. The bootloader performs at least one of validity monitoring, execution, and upgrade of the integrated program. The header includes at least one of version, length, and signature of the integrated program.
