PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-split keytop switch, an input device, and electronic equipment using the same, capable of allowing easy inputting operation by changing the orientation of a keytop display in response to those changes, even if an attitude to hold the electronic equipment changes. PSOLUTION: A four-split keytop 121 is divided into four at 90° by a separator 121s mutually opaque; a printed board 122 is provided where digits or other codes are displayed at each division part of the quadrant keytop 121, a switch contact part 123 is positioned and secured at a center section, and an LED 124 is positioned and secured to face each code of the four-split keytop 121; a gravity detection sensor is provided; and one of the LEDs is selected and driven based on the detected output of the gravity detection sensor, and the switch contact part waits for input.
