PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master device that attains a high-speed access to slave devices without increasing number of signal lines, to provide the slave devices that attain a high-speed access to master devices, and to provide a master slave system that attains a high-speed access between the master devices and the slave devices.;SOLUTION: The master devices and the slave devices make communication via a communication line consisting of N-sets (N≥3, and N is a natural number). Each of the master devices is provided with a means that monitors a state of the communication line and reads its state through loopback, informs the other master devices with each other connected to the communication line about a request denoting the use of the communication line. Each of the slave devices is provided with a means that generates a selection signal, a timing signal and a control signal for the communication with the master devices and communicates the selection signal or the like generated by the generating means by using (N-1) sets of the signal lines among the N-sets of the signal lines with the master devices.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
