PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polynucleotide encoding a protein associated with the apoptosis of hepatic stellate cells, and a ribozyme suppressing the expression of the same. PSOLUTION: The 20 clones of ribozyme sequences associated with the apoptosis of gliotoxin-induced hepatic stellate cells are obtained by using a gene discovery system with a randomized ribozyme library.
