Drive circuit control method for e.g. piezostrictive actuator, involves controlling drive circuit delivering periodic current whose period has successive sequence of slow falling, rapid falling, another slow falling and rapid rising phases
The method involves controlling a drive circuit that delivers a periodic current to an actuator. The period of the delivered current has successive sequence of slow falling phase (B), a rapid falling phase (C), another slow falling phase (D) and a rapid rising phase (E). The drive circuit has a bridge circuit comprising four branches with two branches connected to a DC source such as battery or analog to digital power converter. An independent claim is also included for a drive circuit of an actuator.
