Geometrically relating system, e.g. for combat aircraft, has one detector observing another detector which observes third detector that observes reference point which defines line at axes and has infrared diodes
Geometrically relating system has a detector (1) e.g. charge-coupled device type optoelectronic camera, observing a reference point (10) defining a line (11) at three axes. The point has infrared diodes (12) permitting the detector (1) to detect the position and orientation of the point relative to the detector (1). A detector (2) observes a detector (1) and a detector (3) observes the detector (2) for placing it in a line related to the detector (3). An independent claim is also included for a method for geometrically relating a reference point with respect to a final optical detector of a set of detectors.
