Protocol selection system for e.g. Microsoft platform, has input module inputting procedure data, and protocol selection module selecting protocol based on procedure data such as patient name and procedure name
The system has an input module inputting procedure data, and a protocol selection module selecting a protocol based on the procedure data. An output module outputs a selected protocol, where the data comprises a patient name, a procedure name, an ICD-9 code, a referring physician name, and/or a radiologist name. A protocol editing module edits a protocol, and an exam package module outputs exam package information based on the selected protocol. A billing module outputs the billing information based on the selected protocol. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a protocol selection method (2) a computer-readable storage medium including a set of instructions for a computer to perform a protocol selection method.
