"TABLET MASTABLE LANTAN FORMULATION, TABLET PHARMACEUTICAL FORMULATION OR POWDER", METHOD FOR TREATING HYPERPHOSPHEMIA, USE OF A THERAPEUTICALLY EFFECTIVE FORM OF A LANTAN COMPOUND COMPOUND TOT OF A LANTAN COMPOSITE This invention relates to a chewable lanthanum formulation comprising a pharmaceutically effective amount of a lanthanum compound; and at least one chewable pharmaceutically acceptable excipient. This invention also relates to a tablet or powder pharmaceutical formulation comprising a pharmaceutically effective amount of a lanthanum compound produced by a process comprising the steps of: a) mixing the lanthanum powder compound and at least a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient in a mixer to form a mixture; or (b) mixing the powdered lanthanum compound and excipients, compressing the resulting combination into a spaced material, or compacting the resulting combination into a rope material, and crushing the prepared material into a free flow mixture; and c) compressing the resulting mixture into a tablet or filling the resulting mixture into an appropriate container.
