"The process of obtaining oxygenated derivatives of beta pinene by its oxidation catalyzed by oxides of transition metals.The present invention includes a process for obtaining oxygenated derivatives of beta pinene, high added value, such as: mirtenal, mirtenol,Pinocarveol and pinocarvona from oxidation of beta pinene with dioxigu00eanio or hydrogen peroxide as oxidant the end.The innovative aspect of this process is the use of heterogeneous catalysts based on metal oxides of transition.These heterogeneous catalysts are of easy separation of the reaction products through simple processes, allowing for recovery and reuse.The process can be achieved in the absence of solvent, not being a limiting factor, other solvents can be used, preferably organic solvents.The reaction shows high selectivity and yields for oxygenated derivatives of high added value.
