PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate work without hindering traffic of a place by putting a cover on a trench excavation groove without backfilling and digging up the trench excavation groove for an earth retaining pile.;SOLUTION: In this installing construction method of the earth retaining pile arranged on an inner wall of an excavating hole, steel sheet piles 2 are arranged on both sides of the excavated trench excavation groove 1. A beam material is extended between these steel sheet piles 2 via a waling material 3. In the trench excavation groove 1 requiring an investigation, after investigating a buried pipe, the waling material 3 and the beam material are removed from the trench excavation groove 1. A leg part 5 attached with these materials and a lining member 7 composed of lining plates 6 arranged on the leg part are inserted into the trench excavation groove 1. An upper surface of the respective lining plates 6 is adjusted in the almost same as the ground surface, and is extended between the steel sheet piles 2 by using the beam material and the waling material 3 installed in the leg part 5. The lining member 7 is removed later. The earth retaining pile 8 is driven in the ground from the trench excavation groove 1. The lining member 7 is arranged in the trench excavation groove 1 up to starting open-cut of the ground surface surrounded by these earth retaining piles 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
