Visible radiation occulting device, has control unit that controls propulsion unit to place occultation screen on line-of-sight between telescope and star during observation period
The device has a control unit (43) controlling a propulsion unit (44) to place an occultation screen (40) on a line-of-sight (3) between a telescope (2) and a star (1) during an observation period. The visible radiation of the star is occulted for an observation opening (21) of the telescope during the observation period. The dimension of occultation of the screen is of the order of size of the opening. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) an assembly including a telescope and an observation opening and having a visible radiation occulting device (B) a process for occultation of the visible radiation coming from a star.
