Device for selection and detection of at least two spectral ranges of a light beam (27) has a prism (29) for spectral broadening of the light beam and focus (33) for focusing the light in a focal line (35). A detector (55) is arranged in a plane (57) perpendicular to the focal line, while adjustable shutter (39) is provided for cutting-off a first spectral range and reflecting a second spectral range and is adjustable parallel to the focal line. The invention also relates to a scanning microscope with an inventive device for selection and detection of at least two spectral ranges.
