Functional furniture e.g. chair, has flat springs to arrest movement of hinged cross-bars when cushion is dispersed manually so that furniture attains firm bed position, where furniture attains normal position upon releasing arresting
The furniture has hinged cross-bars (13-16) connected with arm-rests (5, 6) and with a bed frame (4) including a cushion. Flat springs (10, 11) arrest the horizontal movement of the cross-bars when the cushion is dispersed manually so that the furniture attains a firm bed position. The spring force raises the cushion upon releasing the arresting to bend the bars so that the furniture attains the normal position.
