Patient data and information system has bridging computers assigned to responsible doctors, hospitals, relevant care homes, a network controlled by an index computer for connecting the bridging computers and at least a measurement station in a care home for acquiring patient data that is connected to the care home bridging computer. Thus a responsible doctor can access patient data via his system access.
