The electronic device displays customer queries on its LCD display (1) and features customer response keys (2), which the customer presses in order to answer the queries. The queries are stored in a memory chip (3) and the customer response is stored with the corresponding query. The memory chip (3) is easy to retrieve from the device through a slot in the casing (4) and can then be read out into a PC, where it can also be reprogrammed with new customer queries. The device is equipped with a receipt printer (5) and dispenses a ticket with a lottery number after the customer has finished answering the queries.
