The system has a base shoe unit (1) including a sole unit (2a) and a foot bed unit (3a). An additional function unit (4) designed as a heel unit (4a), changes an optical appearance of a shoe, and is joined to the base shoe unit (1). The heel unit has a recess into which a portion of a retaining unit is inserted for the implementation of a functional connection between the recess and the retaining unit.
