The burner has a combustion chamber, in which a baffle (10) to act on the combustion gases flowing into the chamber is fitted in the flame region. The baffle has a disk surface (14) with support feet (16) built into it so that surface shapes (12) are formed, which basically fill the entire surface. The feet may be formed by bending part of the surface.
