Measurement impact wall for crash tests of objects, especially vehicles has at least a sensor (10) assigned to an impact energy receiving element (4) that receives at least a part of the energy imparted by the object to the wall. The sensor measures the applied force, while the energy receiving element is a hydraulic assembly. An independent claim is made for a method for dynamic segmented force measurement in crash tests, whereby the force acting on each segment is measured with a hydrodynamic element.
