FIELD: medical engineering.;SUBSTANCE: device has two fastening plates, thrusting expanding coupling member having internal thread and threaded connection rods axially screwed in into the coupling member from both ends. The coupling member is hexahedral with central hole through which injured vertebra is pulled by means of self-tapped threaded pin with lock-nuts and the device is additionally fastened with a screw. The internal thread in the coupling member is right-hand from one side and left-hand from the other one. Each of the fastening plates has holes on their edges for being attached to vertebra upper- and lower-lying relative to the injured one, and threaded holes having right-hand thread in one plate and left-hand in the other one for screwing-in threaded connecting rods.;EFFECT: improved osteosynthesis stability; reliable fastening of the device to healthy vertebrae.;5 dwg
