DEVICE FOR PROCESSING A RECALL RING SIGNAL IN AN AUTOMATIC RESPONSE SERVICE AND A METHOD THEREOF, ESPECIALLY CONCERNED WITH TRANSMITTING A VOICE MESSAGE WHEN PERIODS OF A RECALL SIGNAL AND A CALL RING SIGNAL ARE DIFFERENT
PURPOSE: A device processing a recall ring signal in an automatic response service and a method thereof are provided to generate the period of a recall ring signal different from a call ring signal in a recall state, and to compare the period of a recall ring signal fed back from a phone of a counselor and the period of a call ring signal, thereby minimizing a customer complaint about a call disconnection by transmitting a voice message for informing a customer that a counselor does not answer to a call when the periods of the signals are different. CONSTITUTION: A counselor phone(200) includes a recall ring signal generator(210), and the recall ring signal generator(210) generates a recall ring signal having a period different from an on/off period of a call ring signal. An ARS system(100) comprises as follows. A recall ring signal receiving unit(110) receives a recall ring signal transmitted from the recall ring signal generator(210). A recall ring cycle detecting unit(120) detects an on/off period of the recall ring signal. A recall ring period comparing unit(130) compares the detected on/off period of the detected recall ring signal with an on/off period of a call ring signal. A recall ring signal processing unit(140) processes a recall ring signal according to a compared result of the on/off periods from the recall ring period comparing unit(130).
