PURPOSE: A coloring photosensitive resin composition, a method for forming a colored pattern by using the composition and a color pattern containing the colored pattern formed by the method are provided, to improve development and to form a cured resin layer having high surface hardness. CONSTITUTION: The coloring photosensitive resin composition comprises a colorant; a binder resin; a photopolymerizable compound; a photopolymerization initiator; a pigment dispersant; and a solvent, wherein a cured resin layer obtained by coating the composition on a glass substrate to form a resin layer and prebaking, exposing, developing and postbaking the resin layer, has the hardness of 3H to 9H by pencil hardness; and the part where the unexposed part of a photosensitive resin layer is dissolved, shows transmittance of 98-100 % (average of 400-780 nm) when the photosensitive layer obtained by prebaking the resin layer and exposing it with a mask is dipped in an alkali aqueous solution of 25 deg.C with stirring with 100 rpm and 120 sec has passed. Preferably the binder resin is a resin comprising a structural unit derived from a (meth)acrylic acid; and the pigment dispersant is at least one kind of surfactant selected from the group consisting of polyester-based, polyethyleneimine-based, polyurethane-based and acrylic acid-based compounds.
