PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output control system in which a trimming range for data to be outputted can be made faithful to each designated range at the time of designing a trimming range or the like in a pre-view processing. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a computer including a display for generating output data Sb to be outputted, data converter 6 for developing the generated output data into bit map data, and printer for operating printing output based on the developed bit map data. In this case, at the time of executing a pre-view processing, display data Sa are generated by using output data Sb and conversion data such as a font to be used for development into bit map data, and returned to the computer, and the pre-view processing is operated. Moreover, the destination of a trimming range is operated on a picture based on the display data Sa, and working data Sd are generated, and the trimming is operated to the output data Sb based on the working data Sd by the data converter 6.
