PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalog article ordering method for ordering an article carried in a catalog via the Internet which is safe in terms of security.;SOLUTION: This catalog article ordering method includes steps described below: (1) an order information generation step in which an order-receiving system M receives identification information, the number of orders and a catalog identification code of an article or an article item from a user terminal U, generates order information and stores it in a memory means and generates an order-receiving number and transmits it to the user terminal U. (2) An order information transmission/shipment instruction output step in which the order-receiving system M receives the order number and a client identification code, extracts the order information specified by the order number from the memory means, extracts shop information from a shop file based on the catalog identification code and transmits the client identification code and order information to a shop side system S, and generates and outputs shipment instruction data. (3) A client invoice output step in which the shop side system S extracts the client information corresponding to the client identification code received from the order-receiving system M from a client master 49 and generates and outputs client invoice data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
