PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide appropriate connection information in order to facilitate the connection of a home electric appliance or the like for anyone with respect to a connection method display program, a connection method display method and a connection method display device for displaying information on the connection of home the electric appliance or the like by a computer.;SOLUTION: The connection method display program is realized by extracting the terminal attributes of appliances from the received appliance designations of connected two appliances, and referring to an inter-terminal connection table in which the combination of connectable two terminal attributes is stored to decide the presence/absence of the combination, and transmitting the image information of the terminals. While the connection terminals of home electric appliances are mentioned and illustrated in an operation manual or electronic manual, the terminals of the other appliances which should be connected through a cable to those terminals are mentioned with universal or abstract expressions. Therefore, it is possible to solve the problem that it used to be difficult for a person who is not familiar with home electric appliances to understand how to connect a plurality of home electric appliances to each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
