PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board for a display device that comprises wiring for repair to restore disconnection defect occurring in a data bus line, actualizes a repaired data bus line when the wiring for repair is short-circuited, and easily performs discrimination with line defect occurring due to another cause, and to provide a liquid crystal display panel and device as well as a defect inspection method of wiring for repair. PSOLUTION: AM-LCD1 has the wiring 23a for repair that restores the data bus line 27, in which disconnection occurs, connected with a common potential feeding conduction pattern 25 through an electrostatic protection element part 20. The electrostatic protection element part 20 has first and second high resistance elements 19, 21 which are serially connected. A short circuit defect detecting wiring 91 for detecting the short circuit of the wiring 23a for repair is connected at the connection point of the first and second high resistance elements 19, 21.
