Measurement machine for examination of rotary machines at very high speeds and low operating torques, whereby both a measurement assembly and a motor generator are mounted on a hollow shaft with a compressed air bearing without any intermediate coupling. The air bearing is formed between the measurement assembly and the motor generator.
