Mechanical vibration damping method, for driven axis, has actual axis velocity signal fed to parallel feedback elements providing output signals combined with required velocity signal for velocity regulator
The vibration damping method uses feedback elements (R1,R2,R3), each providing an output signal (B1,B2,B3) combined with a required velocity signal (V lagsoll) for a motor velocity regulator (3) for the drive motor (1) coupled to the driven axis. At least one sensor and/or measuring system detects the actual position (X lagist) of the axis, which is differentiated for providing the actual axis velocity (V lagist) supplied to the parallel feedback elements, each of which corresponds to a respective vibration frequency range.
