In a production system for producing a plurality of types of parts and producing a plurality of types of products by combining a plurality of types of parts, it is possible to realize a technique or device for calculating a part production cost for each of the parts types. The device includes means for calculating resource amounts invested for each production unit into which the invested resource is decomposed so as to be consumed for production of all the parts to be shipped, means for storing the investment resource unit prices, means for calculating the number of parts produced by the invested resource for each of the parts types, means for storing the apportioned ratio consuming the invested resource for each of the parts types, and means for calculating the parts production cost for each of the parts types on the aforementioned production unit by using the invested resource amount, invested resource unit price, the number of parts to be produced for each of the parts types, and the apportioned ratio of each of the parts types.
