The invention describes methods & systems for embedding Islamicapplications ( "Pray Reminder , Qiblah Finder , Hijri Calendar" ) in themobilehandset (110) with the aid of new services offered by the mobile networkoperator (115) . In order to implement these applications , modificationsshallbe done by mobile handset venders to the firmware and hardware of the mobilehandset and a new Location-Based Islamic Services shall be offered by theMobile Network Operators (115). Two different methods are proposed by thisinvention to automatically update the local Islamic data when the mobilehandset roams from one area (114) or city to another where each city has itsown Local Islamic Data , the first method is to push the local Islamic data byusing Cell Broadcast Message (112a) with a predefined format , the secondmethod comprises of a new mobile positioning techniques to determine themobile location and then acquire the Local Islamic Data using Internet servicethrough WAP (113,117,116,119 ), where the local Islamic Data are provided byIslamic Content Provider (120).
