PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contract system of housing for rent capable of efficiently providing a lot of information by opening the information about housing for rent to the public through a network, capable of setting an appropriate house rent for a tenant and an owner by performing an auction, and furthermore, capable of managing lock of vacant rooms without sending the person in charge to the site by fitting a remote controllable lock device to each of doors, and on the other hand, for giving opportunities to easily see multiple rooms to persons who want to see.;SOLUTION: This contract system of housing for rent is provided with an auction article display means for displaying the information related to an auction article and an auction price input means for inputting an auction price to the article displayed by the auction article display means. After performing the auction on the network for the predetermined period, successful bidder candidates are decided, and an inquiry of the successful bidder candidates is done on the network, and a successful bidder candidate who clears the inquiry sees the room, and contracts when the successful bidder candidate is satisfied with the room.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
