PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polytrimethylene-2,6-naphthalate resin composition which uniformly disperses inert particles, excluding coarse particles in the resin, and reduces voids formed on the interface between the resin and the particles and to obtain a polytrimethylene-2,6-naphthalate film excellent in surface smoothness by the method. PSOLUTION: The method for producing the resin composition includes the first process in which the polytrimethylene-2,6-naphthalate resin is heated and melted, the second process in which the inert particles are added to the molten resin, and the third process in which the molten resin and the particles are kneaded. When the particles are added to the molten resin in the second process, fine powder of polytrimethylene-2,6-naphthalate resin is added together with the inert particles. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
