PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for determining the representatives of syntax analysis results which determine p representatives from N syntax analysis result candidates obtained from text, with the p being smaller than the N and the N being a plural number; and to provide a device for determining the representatives of similar semantic analysis results. PSOLUTION: In the device for determining the representatives of syntax analysis results, for example, a tree expressing means 4 expresses the N syntax analysis result candidates in the form of trees with graph-algorithm-based roots. Clustering means 5, 6 determine the distances between the trees expressing the different syntax analysis result candidates, based on the relationship between their apexes, and classify the N syntax analysis result candidates into p clusters.
