PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily register a target telephone number in an interactive voice response system without responding to suspicious call incoming.;SOLUTION: The interactive voice response communication system has a call originating side terminal and a call terminating side terminal 1, a database 31 for acquiring an arbitrary telephone number from the call terminating side terminal 1 and correspondently storing the acquired telephone number and the call terminating side terminal 1, and an interactive voice response part 33 for retrieving the database 31 with respect to the telephone number of the call originating side terminal 2 in response to a connection request from the call originating side terminal 2, stopping connecting processing to the call terminating side terminal 1 when a matched telephone number is registered, and substitutively responding to the call originating side terminal 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
