The process makes use of a knowledge base (10) containing ambiguities, and a set of mathematical categories to produce a revised knowledge base (14) free from ambiguities. The process includes making use of a knowledge base (10) containing ambiguities, and a set of mathematical categories in the form of coherent fragments of a functional programming language. The process aims to bring interaction between the knowledge base (10) and an assembly (13) in order to specify the components of a programming source code, extract the ambiguities from the knowledge base and obtain a knowledge base (14) free from ambiguities. The procedure is carried out by a computer with a software program acting on the knowledge base, under the control of an operator.
