The helicopter person attacher has a carrier (10) attached to the landing gear (6) of the helicopter which holds a person (13) in a belt (12) in a horizontal position underneath the helicopter. An insert (11) for the carrier allows the person to swing freely and a rest is supported with a holder. The person is supported by a frame with struts and several possible configurations.
