In a book binding process, the book is printed in a series of sheets (1) which are assembled into sections (2). Each section is sewn commensurate individual guide. The individual guides are inserted into a U-frame and welded together. A cross-member is applied to the U-frame to form a box-frame to which the cover is secured.
