PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing recombinant stress-activated protein kinase-β(SAPK-β), as one of mitogen-activated protein kinase using E.coli. The recombinant stress-activated protein kinase-β(SAPK-β) is used for analysis of three-dimensional structure by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and X-ray crystallization and development of inflammation inhibitor. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing recombinant stress-activated protein kinase-β(SAPK-β) comprises the steps of: transforming E.coli with an expression vector pRGT7HSAPK β to give E.coli transformant BL21(DE3)/pRGT7HSAPK β(KCTC 0450BP); culturing the transformant and followed by cytolysis; centrifuging the crude lysate to remove insoluble protein; and purifying SAPK-β by chromatography, dialysis and filtration chromatography.
