PURPOSE: Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains, GY1015, GY1016, and GY1017 capable of selecting genes suppressing the cell death are provided, thereby effectively screening genes suppressing the plant and animal cell death. CONSTITUTION: Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains, GY1015, GY1016, and GY1017 capable of selecting genes suppressing the cell death are provided, wherein the Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains, GY1015, GY1016, and GY1017 are isolated by sequencing pYX112-cdf1 and pYX112-cdf2 to identify their open reading frame(ORF) regions and an ORF region of gene Bax; ligating NMV4 vector with the ORF regions of pYX112-cdf1, pYX112-cdf2 and gene Bax to construct NMV4-cdf1, NMV4-cdf2 and NMV4-Bax, and independently transforming Saccharomyces cerevisiae(MAT alpha ade1 his2 leu2-3) with NMV4-cdf1, NMV4-cdf2 and NMV4-Bax to construct Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains GY1015, GY1016, and GY1017, respectively; and verifying the production of clone in selection media including SD-Glucose-Trp and SD-Galactose-Trp.
