PURPOSE: A fat-removal solution comprising a mucous material from the soil of a foreshore area and an extract of glasswort(Salicornia herbacea) as a main component is provided. The agent exhibits a desirable reduction effect on body weight and fat and suppressing effect on appetite and has no adverse effect or skin irritation. Therefore, it can be effectively used in the field of cosmetics and medicines. CONSTITUTION: A fat-removal solution comprises 10 to 90% by weight of a mucous material from the soil of a foreshore area, 5 to 10% by weight of an extract of Salicornia herbacea and additionally Theae folium, mugwort, sweet beans, egg yolk, soybean, vitamin, mineral material containing ferric oxide and Na¬+ ion.
