PURPOSE: A method for processing a remaining coin of a purchase price and a recording medium storing a computer program performing the same are provided to remove the inconvenience for always preparing the coins for the repayment, and keeping and managing the coins caused by the repayment. CONSTITUTION: A buyer having a remaining coin processing card for the purchase price presents the card to a seller having a remaining coin processing terminal in order to process the cash overpaying to the purchase price(S22). The buyer information is understood through the card by using the terminal. The buyer information is connected to a buyer management database of the seller. The transaction information and the remaining coin processing request information of the buyer transmitted from the terminal is recorded to the buyer management database. According to the remaining coin processing request, the remaining coin processor seller processes the remaining coin of the purchase price by using a remaining coin processing system(S24). A processing result is recorded to the buyer management database and transmitted to the terminal. The processing result is confirmed by the buyer through a confirmation tool and the card is returned to the buyer(S25).
