PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the degree of progression of painted film deterioration which has a sufficient correlation to an actual exposure result, to provide a method for evaluating an apparatus of hastily testing weatherability which evaluates the degree of correspondence of the apparatus of hastily testing weatherability with the actual exposure, and to provide the apparatus of hastily testing weatherability.;SOLUTION: The method for measuring the degree of progression of painted film deterioration includes a step in which the surface of the painted film with pigments where the deterioration of appearance occurs is observed by an electronic microscope, a step in which information of particle size distribution of the pigment is obtained from an image formed by above step, and a step in which the deviation α between the Zipf's distribution curve and a curve obtained by plotting the particle size for the particle number using data of particle size and data of particle number having the particle size that are contained in above information of particle size distribution is obtained. The deviation α is used as an index of the degree of progression of painted film deterioration.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
