PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating polypyrrole-based microtubes, and also provide electroconductive materials or incandescent luminescent materials comprising the polypyrrole-based microtubes treated.;SOLUTION: The method for treating polypyrrole-based microtubes comprises applying currents to the polypyrrole-based microtubes, which are 0.1 μm to 104μm in wall thickness, 10 μm to 106μm in length and 1 μm to 105μm in diameter and has an electroconductive of at most 50 Ω-1cm-1 in the direction of the length, to emit light incandescently or directly heating the tubes by fire.
