PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily suspend accounting even when a sales system failure occurs.;SOLUTION: When an authentication accounting server executes a series of accounting processes for carrying out response of successful accounting to a sales server, when an accounting request is delayed or lost on a network because of a failure of the sales server or the like, a purchase control terminal directly sends accounting suspension information to the authentication accounting server without waiting for the response from the sales server to bring a bill issue ID into an accounting suspension state in the authentication accounting server, and thereby the accounting is surely suspended even if the accounting information arrives at the authentication accounting server behind time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
