PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the adjustment of the heights of lower limbs in a lying attitude in view of the need of time and labor for adjusting the height of a cushion associated with frequent rising from the lying position as lumbago causes a feeling of uneasiness if the same attitudes are kept continuously in the conventional measure for easing lumbago employing a treating method in which a chair or a mat such as a cushion is put under lower limbs of a person being kept lying on his back to reduce the pains at his waist. ;SOLUTION: The foot pad 1 for easing lumbago is constituted of an air bag 2, a lower limb resting surface plate 3 and a bottom plate 4 of the air bag. The heights of the lower limbs can be easily adjusted from the stretched state of the lower limbs to the lifted position thereof by adjusting increase or decrease in the amount of air of the air bag 2 with an electric air pump 5. Thus, this meets the requirement of easier adjustment of the heights of the lower limbs for the solution.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
