A can opener (20) is fixed to a top surface (1) of a can body by means of a central stationary rivet (22) so that a leading portion (21) contacts an opening portion (1a). A finger portion (24) has a folded strengthening rim (26). A u-shaped opening (23) allows the opener to be levered by a pushing portion (28) with a stiffening reinforcement (28a) and a supporter (29) so that the leading portion pushes and breaks the opening portion along a tearing line (1b).
