The method involves transmitting cyclic TDMA data transmission blocks and composing each block from successive time slices (TS.1-TS.n), each associated with a defined node. The d.c. component or phase rotation set for the preceding block for a given time slice is adopted and set as a pre-set value for signal detection in the base station receiver at the start of each time slice.
