Electric motor, especially asynchronous motor, has starter line with predominately Ohmic resistance connecting gate to second reference point at different potential from first reference point
The device has a main winding and an auxiliary winding for connection via TRIACs wholly or partially in series with the main winding. A current switch has its control connection or gate (5) connected to the potential of a first reference point (14) via a control line. A starter line (13) with predominately Ohmic resistance connects the gate to a second reference point (15) at a different potential from the first reference point. An Independent claim is also included for a centrifugal pump, especially a slotted pot pump, driven by an inventive motor.
